Two Day Street Photography Workshop in Barcelona, Spain.
Two Day Street Photography Workshop in Barcelona
Beyond being a workshop, these two days will provide an unforgettable experience in this vibrant, exciting city. I don’t just teach photography, my belief is to enlighten and inspire people to realise their potential. You will leave a more confident street photographer having learnt new skills. Being totally immersed in the local culture, exploring diverse areas in a way that no tourist would ever normally do, each area bringing something unique to create the mixing pot that is Barcelona...
Barcelona is the capital of Catalonia, it has its own official language, Catalan and together with Spanish is used regularly in every walk of life. Barcelona has always attracted people from all over the world, making it even more multilingual and special. It is the people living there, with their different backgrounds and cultures who make it so cosmopolitan, diverse and intercultural making it an exciting city for street photography.
What you’ll learn.
Because group sizes are small, limited to 4 you will be treated as an individual, giving you as much one to one time as you need. Working at your own pace using simple non-technical, jargon-free language. You will delve into the culture of Barcelona as well as discovering great areas to capture street photography.
My workshops are very friendly, relaxed and sociable so the first day will begin with the participants getting together over a coffee and a chat giving Keith the opportunity to assess your individual needs and what you are looking for from the workshop, I want you to go home happy with some great shots!
Of course you will learn various street photography techniques, but more importantly, I will help you to focus on your strengths and help you to realise your potential. Inspiring and encouraging you, giving you the confidence to approach people in the street and, once approached, how to connect with them instantly putting them at ease and just as importantly gaining their confidence to capture their character making it a mutually rewarding experience.
It’s about personal enlightenment and fulfilment. I believe that a great image is 25% photographic skill 75% human skill.
On the evening of the first day, you are welcome to join me to eat at a local Catalonian restaurant where you can enjoy tapas or one of the other local dishes, a glass of wine or whatever your tipple is. It’s a great time to socialise and reflect on the day.
Whom is this workshop designed for?
It doesn’t matter whether you’re a beginner or professional, the workshop is not just about learning how to use your camera it's about seeking personal development, maybe working outside of your comfort zone, realising your potential and especially those seeking a new type of experience.
